Allows the user to view information about the Mobile POS service including the event log. To access the FPOS Mobile POS Service Host, click the Mobile POS Service Host icon in the Windows System Tray, or right click the icon and select Open. You can also launch the Mobile POS Service Host from the Back Office > Settings screen. The Mobile POS Service Host window will open.
Lists devices that are paired with the Back Office server as Mobile Terminals.
Allows users to view events by severity. Select the severity in the drop down. Severity options show the selected severity and any events that are greater than or equal to that level.
Displays pertinent Mobile POS information such as the Port number and computer name where the database is connected. This tab also allows the user to test your database connection. To enable Mobile POS Error Logging, turn off the Mobile POS Service Host, select the Error Logging check box, set the Days to keep log files, and select the Message level to log. Once these have been set, turn on the Mobile POS Service Host. The default path of the logfiles can be found here: C:\FPOS5\MobilePOSServerLogs.
